What’s the stitch?
Whether you love to sew, knit, or embroider –or have always wanted to try! –And Sew On… is the studio for you! We embrace the creative process with a learning mindset to introduce skills to creators of all ages. Learn how to “stitch together” practical skills with your own creativity in all forms of fiber arts.
Stitch-by-stitch guided instruction
Smaller class sizes allow for 1:1 instruction for supportive learning and troubleshooting tricky stitches.
All materials always included
No need to hunt around town or the internet for supplies. We’ll always provide you with the tools and materials you need to complete our class projects.
Brave space to learn
Let’s be honest: When you first start learning a new skill, your projects are going to look a little “wonky.” And that’s okay! We focus on progress over perfection. With more practice, you’ll be surprised by what you can create starting with a simple stitch.

Wicked: For Good Skirt or Shorts
Are you an Elphaba or a Glinda? We’ll make a skirt or shorts in the (sparkly) color of your choice as we look ahead to Wicked: For Good opening later in the month!

CollaBorative Camp: Thanksgiving break
Join Thrown Elements Pottery, And Sew On…Stitch Studio, and Monart Drawing Studio in this multimedia arts camp adventure. Each child age 9+ will create a project from each of the three mediums (clay, sewing, drawing).
Monday-Wednesday, Nov. 24-26 from 9:30a-12p at Monart in Arlington Heights (628 Arthur Ave). $180 per participant. Sign up here
